Joe The Barbarian

I haven't posted in a while. Here is my interpretation of Joe The Barbarian, the most underrated comic book of 2010. In case you were wondering, yes there was meant to be a background but I screwed up the coloring. Maybe will get around to doing it in the future.

Damn.

Here's a piece I did for Fistful of Comics a while back. I was really happy with the outcome here. This could actually be my favourite thing that I've done so far. Shadows are still cool, right?

Kick Start Logo

Here's a logo I did for a friend of mine. It's for a motorcycle restoration project that he's working with called Kick Start.

Request - David Lynch

A bright young lad named Alan asked me to draw him a picture of his hero David Lynch. I could only oblige.

New Work 08/07

I had to do some artwork for my sister's school the other day that was all established comic characters. I did about twelve and was only really satisfied with these two. They have the same smile, that's adorable.

Musical Master: Jimi Hendrix

Here's a new feature added this week. I love drawing musicians so every now and then I'll draw one of the greats and post some recommendations fer you with it.

This week we look at the man born Johnny Allen Hendrix who would later redefine how people played guitars forever. Jimi Hendrix is credited as popularizing the 'wah-wah pedal' as well as pioneering the use of stereophonics and phasing on his records. His unique and explosive brand of guitar playing is probably best displayed during his amazing performance at the 1969 Woodstock Festival. He died tragically in September of 1970 at the age of 27, but is still as big a name in music as they come.

Recommended Listening: Pretty much everything but especially the albums Electric Ladyland, Axis: Bold as Love & Are You Experienced?

Weekly Wildman #4

Hey there. Due to my complete lack of organization, I missed last week's 'Weekly Wildman.' Hopefully the fact that this is a double sized edition makes up for it. Written by a friend from my movie-making days, here we find Wildman attempting to woo a member of the fairer sex...
