Musical Master: Jimi Hendrix

Here's a new feature added this week. I love drawing musicians so every now and then I'll draw one of the greats and post some recommendations fer you with it.

This week we look at the man born Johnny Allen Hendrix who would later redefine how people played guitars forever. Jimi Hendrix is credited as popularizing the 'wah-wah pedal' as well as pioneering the use of stereophonics and phasing on his records. His unique and explosive brand of guitar playing is probably best displayed during his amazing performance at the 1969 Woodstock Festival. He died tragically in September of 1970 at the age of 27, but is still as big a name in music as they come.

Recommended Listening: Pretty much everything but especially the albums Electric Ladyland, Axis: Bold as Love & Are You Experienced?

Weekly Wildman #4

Hey there. Due to my complete lack of organization, I missed last week's 'Weekly Wildman.' Hopefully the fact that this is a double sized edition makes up for it. Written by a friend from my movie-making days, here we find Wildman attempting to woo a member of the fairer sex...

X-Sketches

My Brother was watching X-men 2 the other day when I sketched these. It really is the best film of the franchise. Nightcrawler is my favourite X-man to draw. Click to enlarge.

Weekly Wildman #2

Hey there, I'm still fairly sure that there's no one out there, but here's this week's 'Wildman' anyway. Enjoy, my fictional fans, enjoy!

Getting political #1

Today we're delving into the cut-throat world of political cartooning. These are a bit dated now (in news time anyway) but I'll post them now anyway. Again, click on the pictures for super high res.
